About the Department

The national development doctrine of education in Ukraine in the XXI century foresees, that there is a priority development of education an inculcation of modern information technologies, realization of principle fundamental educations (strengthening an attention to the disciplines, that determine the strategy directions of civilization progress is mathematicians, physics, chemistries, informatics and others like that), intensification of scientific researches of clever young people, integrating an education in the international concord.

In the decision of these tasks our department acts the considerable part. Modern world tendencies in the region of design, research and analysis of the applied tasks and information streams, that arise up in different industries of science and technique, foresee development of new non-traditional approaches, with the use of the modern information technologies.

Department provide preparation of specialists after directions “Applied mathematics”, and "International relations", from specialities:

1. The "applied mathematics"  is 4 levels of accreditation;
2. A "social informatics"  is 4 levels of accreditation;
3. "International information" is 3 levels of accreditation.

Educationally the professional programs of preparation of specialists on the applied mathematics and social informatics provide ability to formalize a task, develop the mathematic model of process, choose or develop the numerical method of decision, estimate its efficiency (convergence, exactness, firmness), to build algorithms, realize them as applied software on PEOM or in a computer network, to put right a programmatic complex for solution of the real task. They own problems of the system programming, develop the separate modules of system software, accompany calculable and informative processes in the modern computer systems with their administration in computer networks.
